80s rap and electro was where it all began for Junglebones. Back then, the excitement of taping radio hip hop shows and spending Saturday mornings buying records started his life long love of music.

It wasn’t long before he started listening to Chicago & Acid house and his passion for music grew, by 1989 he was regularly spending his weekends travelling around the UK attending illegal parties and tuning into the Pirate Radio stations and thoroughly engaging with the sounds – be it in a field or a disused warehouse!

Junglebones music taste progressively moved on to Hardcore Breakbeat vibe and the dark moody days of jungle which in turn led to his euphoric love of DnB- which he describes as “still blowing my mind”.

His biggest influences were and still are Randall, Doc Scott, Flight, Kenny Ken, Ron, Intalex, Ellis D, Carl Cox ,Fabio & GrooveRider, Ray Keith, Mark Archer, Top Buzz, Break, and Bryan G, Kings Of The Rollers  – all Pioneers of their scenes.
Junglebones is still djing and enjoys putting on Old Skool/ jungle/ Drum n Bass nights.
