With over 30 years behind the decks, Manchester based DJ HawXy came through the underground dance scene at a time when progressive house wasn’t really a neatly defined genre – it was a journey, the groove, the atmosphere and where a DJ could take you over the course of a set. Fast forward a few decades and, while the technology and the music have moved on, those fundamentals haven’t changed for this DJ, and this is evident in his sets.

You’ll probably find HawXy playing most genres of dance music from early ‘90’s Old Skool Piano House to banging Techno, Prog and Trance at underground dance music events in Manchester having more recently played slots at Room 303, Melotech, Barça, MCR Lounge, Stage & Radio, Kinōra, Rave Odyssey and Trancendance.
