Bailey’s journey in music began back in 1992 when he bought his first pair of decks. After honing his skills as a bedroom DJ, he made his first breakthrough by playing at small house music events around Telford. By 1995, he was already performing in clubs and larger venues across the Midlands, including a residency at Euphoria. Over the years, Bailey became a staple in the scene, collaborating with major Midlands promoters like Pandemonium and Club Kinetic.
By the turn of the millennium, Bailey took a step back from the decks, disillusioned by the saturation of commercial music and a changing scene that no longer inspired him. But nearly a decade later, a resurgence of passion hit when Bailey discovered internet radio. Teaming up with another DJ from the scene, he co-founded his own station, hosting some of the biggest names in the DJ world.
In the years that followed, Bailey returned to his roots, playing across various radio platforms, with a notable presence on OldskoolAnthems, where he rekindled his love for the oldskool sounds. Eventually, an invitation from an old colleague led him to join a skilled team to create a new internet radio station—Ultimate Dance Radio.
Today, Bailey is back in the DJ scene, hosting shows that feature deep and progressive house, with occasional old-school sets that pay tribute to the tracks that first shaped his love for dance music.
